Code of Conduct
for the members of the Order of the Knights of the Eternal Flame

All members of KEF are subject to dismissal upon proof of:

  • Duplication of items in the game, or similar events of "hacking" game files.

  • Any officer of KEF shall not be allowed to take gifts from others of items not found in the game.

  • All knights should strive to discourage duplication of items or other such "hacks" with anyone they know, and hopefully this will discourage all from doing this.

  • All members of KEF are subject to discipline up and including dismissal; upon proof of violating the guilds by-laws

  • Any Knight of the guild shall be expected to provide exemplary conduct at all times, specifically with regards to the standards set forth in the guild's by-laws.

  • Any Knight found to be in violation of our code of conduct, may be brought before the guild's council in their game in order to answer for the same.

  • The burden of proof shall be upon any accusers, all knights of the guild being presumed honor bound to tell the truth.

Given the gravity of such accusations typically a 2/3 majority of the guild's council in that game would have to decide to expel any guild member found to be guilty of either above violation of the code of conduct.  In such instances votes of abstention should be counted as "no" votes.  For punishments of a lesser nature it should fall the the GM in that game as to how best to deal with the situation.  As always the guild in any game is free to adopt a more restrictive policy in such matters as a part of their specific by-laws.
